Surya released the Audio of Boss Engira Bhaskaran starring Arya and Nayanthara at the audio launch function of revealed that Arya is the real star in his house. "My family loves Arya. They make it a point to catch all his films. And when a song from one of his films gets aired on television, they drop all work to watch it. No one moves from their place or scan the TV for other channels. Sometimes, I do feel a little jealous."

Suriya added "Arya is lucky to have gotten an opportunity to perform different kinds of characters in a short span of time. And he's used the opportunity well."

Boss Engira Bhaskaran is marketed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies and is directed by Rajesh of Siva Manasulla Shakti. The music of the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja who couldn't make it to the launch.
